What makes us "not your average" farm? 

We specialize in growing fresh, nutritious produce that you won't be able to find at just any other store or farm. Right now we are focused solely on offering a variety of interesting, healthy, and delicious microgreens, and in the future we look forward to expanding into other "not your average" varieties of all types of produce! 

Different colors and shapes of more common vegetables like squashes, lettuce, cucumbers etc., as well as types of produce that most people haven't even heard of at all, like cucamelons, noodle beans, ground cherries, and much more!

What are Microgreens?

Microgreens are basically just tiny, nutrient packed plants! Instead of planting one seed, and waiting months to harvest a heard of broccoli, for example, we plant hundreds, or even thousands of seeds, and let them grow until they are only a few inches tall, and harvest them all together! What you are eating is the entire plant (except for the root). 

Because of this, microgreens are incredibly healthy, and are FULL of nutrients - they have a lot higher quantities of some nutrients per volume than many other healthy foods (they can be >30% protein!). 

A 100 g serving of microgreens is also a great source of iron (>100% of your daily recommended intake!), as well as a great source of folate, magnesium, vitamin A, vitamin B2, vitamin K, copper, manganese, and selenium! They are also a good source of phosphorus, iodine, vitamin C, vitamin B6, for all, as well as fiber for women.
